Future Eve
From the moment the new Eden first opened the doors, eight and a half years have passed. Not too long for the real world, but in the EVE universe, where wars rattling every day, alliances are formed and disintegrated, alliances are concluded and loud betrayals are performed, these eight years are a story for which there are not enough hundred volumes. Having recognized errors made in Incarna, the developers are returning to the origins. The next addition that will be released this winter will add new ships and nebulae, make the necessary changes to the gameplay, significantly improve PVP mechanics. As for walking around the stations, they are postponed for an indefinite period. CCP does not lose hope to ever realize this grandiose plan, but now walks are not at all what the community wants.
[[Bullet]] All over the CCP office there are paintings by the Icelandic photo artist – the well -known buildings of Reykjavik, over which ships from Eve hang. Interestingly, the artist was not a player.
Nevertheless, the famous plot from the Eve Future Vision video (see it at our DVD), perhaps not such a distant future. In 2012, a shooter will be released at PlayStation 3 Dust 514 , which will connect two completely different genres and two different platforms. EVE pilots will be able to hire a soldier from DUST to capture planets – another unique CCP experiment. Who knows, maybe it will inhale the new energy into the game?
After the recent war of the DRF and the Northern Coalition (more about it – in Gamemany No. 10/11), a relative lull came in the game. But the world in Eve is a rare phenomenon, so this is nothing more than lull in front of the storm. Who will become a new formidable force? Who will ingloriously disappear next year? The history of EVE continues, and we are unable to find out this.
